The emphasis in this workshop will be on the gorgeous fall color with underlying contemplation of the changes we experience in the four seasons.
Secondarily, will be an exploration of the underlying form of the landscape genre. The resulting studies could be realistic to abstract. A mixed media approach with watercolor and graphite pencil and/or watercolor pencil is also appropriate. And we will be working small in a journal approach.
Beginners are welcome but all should find this kind of exploration rewarding.

The simplest of materials are required. Keep in mind that we may be carrying everything into the field.

Materials Required:
A small watercolor journal with a hard back. My favorite is the moleskine watercolor, 5x8.
A compact watercolor palette - 24 color Winsor & Newton is a good choice
2 watercolor brushes – 1 small, 1 medium
2 graphite pencils – 2H and 3B, pencil sharpener (prismacolor works well)
Plastic eraser, rag, waterbottle
